Do CBD Topicals, Creams and Lotions Actually Work?

CBD comes in multiple forms other than oil. On the market today, you can find CBD-infused clothing, beverages, even mattresses. Another CBD delivery system that Straight Hemp offers is topically, for example CBD creams, lotions and balms.

Like other CBD products, they are credited for relieving pain, but do they?

What are CBD-Infused Topicals?

CBD topicals are CBD products that are applied directly to the intended area on the body. They are created by immersing high quality cannabis flowers into a high quality oil. Straight Hemp uses several high quality oils in its balm including coconut, olive, almond, hempseed, apricot, and sunflower. Then, the oil pulls compounds in the flowers and combines with other natural herbs that are known for pain relief.

However, there’s little scientific data today that backs up these claims, but there are studies in the works or are currently in progress to collect data on this. There is, however, one CBD-derived drug that’s been approved by the FDA that treats seizures.

How do they work?

CBD topicals, creams and lotions, such as Straight Hemp’s balm, allow you to reapply to the affected area as needed, but check the product label for application suggestions.

Before using any CBD product, it is best to check your local laws and regulations before purchasing a CBD product, including employer laws.
